Happy to undertake a commission for a retreat, as a writer who likes to try new things, I was quite looking forward to the combination of eating, moving and sleeping at the delightful Whitfield House in Kent.
I packed my overnight bag with yoga wear and bikinis (almost packing my passport as on auto pilot!), and ended up in a house full of strangers. However, after 48 together – an me mastering a head stand! We are now friends.
