At a mere 2.5 hours from the UK, Mallorca is always a tempting destination for a shoulder season long weekend, and boy, did I make the most of it, on a delightfully sunny Spanish weekend for the opening of the Aubamar Resort.

Whilst the UK was still waiting for Spring, I was all flip flops and sunglasses as I enjoyed being serenaded by a saxophonist and waking up to blue skies and views of the sea. The new all luxe wing has had a facelift, and although it wasn’t quite hot enough for me to dip my toes in one of the eight outdoor pools, I made the most of the sexy Spa!
