So, along with the rest of the world, I have been trying to remain positive during lockdown and have been exploring different avenues for my creative output as I haven’t been able to enjoy my usual jetset lifestyle (the garden and dog walking in the park don’t count!)
Podcasts have been part of my life for a while, and I love listening to people chat- it’s like eavesdropping but much more targeted!
So, as I like to chat (and to keep myself motivated), I got a mini podcast kit from Shure and got busy learning how the wibbly wobbly world of the Pod works. Actually, with this kit, it was remarkably easy! The very dinky microphone plugs into your smart phone, which slots perfectly into the table top tripod, so you can self-record video or do voiceovers of scenery at the press of one button. As the footage the saves into your iPhone photos, the conversion to a podcast is easy peasy!
My long term intention is to interview guests on my travels face to face, but for the moment, I have guests lined up for recorded isolation chats.
