CULTURAL DEBRIS: Art for the Masses

CULTURAL DEBRIS

If street art is your bag, the latest exhibition at the Jealous Gallery in Shoreditch is a must see.
Entitled ‘Cultural Debris’ it showcases the work of fine artists Jono Boyle & Adam Koukoudakis, who are the next gen of modern collectable artists (Koukoudakis’s work has already been snapped up by Bansky).

Together their work complements references from the 21st century artefacts and icons, and the exhibition is a carefully curated mash up of society’s ever changing pop culture which is distorted and diffused through paint, installation or collage.

The new body of work consists of personal and cultural references which will definitely make the viewer think and reminisce.

With Sir Peter Blake and Franz Ferdinand as fans, these guys are definitely ‘Ones to Watch’.

Check out the exhibition at The Jealous Gallery, 53 Curtain Road, Shoreditch
19-24th September | Open 10-7pm daily
