FASHION PACKING FOR SUMMER TRIPS
I’m sorry to have to remind you that summer is nearly on it’s way out what with Midsummer’s Day in the middle of next week- and it doesn’t even feel like it’s started yet!
But this is where my smug face comes on, as my summer is actually just beginning with three trips (and time for more) on the horizon!
I have been lucky enough to be asked to attend a charity cycle ride in Lake Garda next weekend.. It’s not a long weekend of cycling for me (thank goodness!) but I will be taking part, along with soaking up the scenery and sampling the delicious Italian food, all to raise awareness for #WorldAwarenessDay
I’m very much looking forward to the downtime at the 4* Parc Hotel Paradiso resort too- so these looks that are inspired by the Farfetch Content Pack, would be perfect:
These cut off jeans shorts by Alexander Wang, are a summer essential, matched with a white Alexander McQueen off the shoulder top. I would match with the unusual Golden Goose white trainers for a more sophisticated version of the Sam Smith!
For lounging by the pool, I am obsessed by this Missoni bandeau bikini- no tan lines for me! And in keeping with this summer’s colour- I love the burnt orange maxi dress by Maria Lucia Hohan which is full of le dolce vita, and will look amazing for evening cocktails. The icing on the cake will be these Mykita shades. Big enough to make a statement, but cool enough to go with everything!
I’ve also got a weekend coming up to St Moritz.. A very different kind of break, so I need something sophisticated, versatile and easy to pop into my hand luggage as I will be chauffeured around in an convertible car! Black is the perfect choice and I will be able to add some statement shoes, hence me lusting after these:
For the icing on the cake, I will be off to Budapest for a music festival in August. With Rihanna topping the bill at the Sziget, I need to look HoT HoT HoT!
Festivals are known to be muddy, but I am hoping that Hungary will behave itself, however practical packing will be key. I love the boho vibe of the Chloe dress, and the simplicity of the black (natch!) T by Alexander Wang. Both will go with the uber cool military D Squared boots, and I will colour clash with the Versace jacket. When night falls I will wrap up in some trusty AG jeans and love this asymmetric white top. And keeping the traditional festival vibe I will have the snakeskin bikini and leopard Car shoes ready to pounce!
