Paris Haute Couture: How I love thee so!

Viktor & Rolf Couture Spring Summer 2015 in Paris Elie Saab Couture Spring Summer 2015 Paris 00050h_426x639 00150h_426x63900160h_426x639 00610h_426x63900020h_262x393

The words on every fashionista’s lips at the mo are Paris Couture. Le sigh.

Full of glamour, excitement, the world’s highest paid supermodels, and some of the most expensive frocks known to mankind.

Viktor & Rolf showed typically flamobyant headwear and African inspired print babydoll dresses, whilst Elie Saab went the opposite way with delicate sequins, translucent silks and a ruffle of feathers.

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel was practical and pretty in pastels whereas Versace chose block colours with toned tummy cut out details in strong blues, reds, blacks and whites,

If it’s wedding inspiration you are looking for, check out John Galliano who took 21st century wedding couture to the next level sending models out to Billy Idol’s ‘White Wedding’ in see through lace!

And Raf Simons for Christian Dior mixed perspex, ballerina and knits to create a collection fit for a fairytale princess.

Totally out of budget and not something you see often in one of the two bars in Brockley, I can daydream, and put them on my wishlist to shoot!
